One of the fantastic young motorcyclists that Chains & Sprockets are sponsoring is Lissy Whitmore.
On Saturday 27th June, Lissy had a very successful test at Mallory, although as with every track day this year it was wet again!
She had lost a lot of confidence in her first three track days early in the year, but with some hard work she got her confidence back!
Sadly her close friend Ben passed away last weekend at Donington, and it hit her and her family hard, but Lissy has turned it around and is using the situation to drive her forward - knowing that Ben will be watching her and be with her all the way.
Despite the hard times that she has recently faced, her recent track day went amazingly well. Lissy knocked 7 seconds off her previous best wet lap time, to get a 1.07.6 and be right at the front of the group.
