Here at Chains & Sprockets, we are proud to announce that we are sponsoring the up and coming motorcyclist Lissy Whitmore.
Lissy is 15 years old and is starting her second year of racing full-sized bikes this year on a Yamaha YZF-R3, having competed her first year on a KTM RC 390.
She has only been riding and racing since 2017, but has already gained a wealth of experience in that short space of time. She finished 5th in the British Mini Bike Championship in 2018 - her first full season, then began moving up to bigger bikes in 2019.
In 2019, Lissy gained 7 Podium Finishes - 5 at the Supermono GB Championship, and 2 in the Open 500 Newcomer Class at NG Road Racing Club. She ended the season 3rd place in the Supermono GB Junior Championship.
Lissy is currently racing her Yamaha YZF-R3 in the NG Road Racing Club, and has the aim of fulfilling her potential by making it to BSB one day. As you can see from the attached image, Lissy has even had support from the legendary Peter Hickman.
